JRBF History Tent Set up at Galt’s Mill – Friday June 18, 2021

The new “Batteau History” tent as Bill Trout calls it was set up today in Galt’s Mill with the special assistance of Former JRBF Chairman, David Haney and Hudson Funderburk, (Son of Nathan Funderburk). First the tent was set up and then the new fly was placed over the tent’s front pole and then four extra corner poles added. This was the first time the new fly has ever been set up. I sent a few pictures to the lady I worked with on my order at Panther Primitives in Normantown, WV, and she was really happy to see the new set up. Panther Primitives has been making the very best canvas tents for a very long time.

There was a breeze and the campsite overlooking the river was really nice.

In the Morning please help Bill Trout at 8:30 am if you are near the Love Sign. He needs help with the tent for the VC&NS.

See ya around the river,
