The James was beautiful today at Rucker Landing

Just thought I’d go for a drive downtown today and see the ole James River. The sun was bright and the sky was blue. The water was a great color although the level was looking a little low. 

Then my friend Mason Basten came by with a raft with a motor to test a few laps and it looked like he was having a great time. 

The Amherst County grounds department was out cutting grass and the park benches and walking trail by the river looked fantastic. Good job grounds crew. Thank you.
